This real photo postcard printed on photographic paper came with several others also listed in this auction in an envelope titled "Overseas and Transport Service Views OTTO J. HOLDAKOWSKI Series U.S.S. Ohioan." The title is: "Capt. of Pigeon Company (No. 1) with pigeon Cher Amie which saved the lives of the 'Lost Battalion' in the Argonne, 1918."
