Homing pigeons don't require a large amount of room, although your loft should be located in an open area away from overhead wires, trees and other buildings. Many lofts are only slightly larger than a tool shed, measuring 8 ft. x 12 ft. or so, divided into 2 or 3 sections. lt's best to look at other lofts in your area as to design and style as different areas of the country require different features.
